PRESENTATIONS OF SCIENTIFIC TRENDS AS AN EDUCATIONAL TOOL IN THE TRAINING OF FUTURE DOCTORS: PHYSICAL AND TECHNICAL DISCOVERIES IN DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGY

The intensive development of science and technology, the transformations in society require a person of deep and firm knowledge, the ability to master them, to improve and to apply the acquired knowledge to solve theoretical and practical problems and problems facing the future healthcare professional. One of the ways to solve these problems is to improve the method of use of physical and technical discoveries at the stage of pre-vocational education and its development at the stage of vocational education (course of medical and biological physics in medical (pharmaceutical) institutions of the higher education). It was established that the problem of complex use of physical and technical discoveries in the methods of teaching future doctors has not been studied in the domestic scientific literature, despite the fact that due to physical and technical discoveries, the discipline ‘Medical and Biological Physics’ undergoes changes and affects the level of development of medical equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Features of use of physical and technical discoveries were defined from the point of integrity and continuity in training of medical and biological physics in medical institutions of the higher education at use of modern method of training; the possibilitу of presentations of scientific trends was determined. The term ‘scientific trend’ is substantiated and defined, its content and essence are summarized. The general approaches to the definition of the modern term ‘trend’ in various fields of knowledge are studied. Its three common characteristics are distinguished, in particular in applied sciences (economics, statistics, etc.). The term ‘real-time trend’ for the analysis of modern physical and technical discoveries and the ‘historical trend’ for the analysis of trend changes associated with physical and technical discoveries that occurred in the past is substantiated, and the effectiveness of the use of presentations of scientific trends in practical classes in the discipline ‘Medical and Biological Physics’, as a modern teaching method, in the form of multimedia and graphic presentations, is proved. A scientific trend on the topic ‘Physical and technical discoveries in diagnostic radiology’ for the content module ‘Fundamentals of electronic medical equipment’ is created on the basis of quantitative and graphical measurement. The tendentious development of physical and technical discoveries in diagnostic radiology in temporal, quantitative and variable indicators is studied.
