In today’s environment of innovative development of pharmaceutical science and technology, training highly qualified specialists is an important factor in ensuring the quality of pharmaceutical care. An important role in this process is played by the internal system of education quality assurance, which allows to integrate graduates into the global labour market, contributing to their competitiveness. The purpose of this article is to describe the main aspects of the internal system of education quality assurance in the context of training of pharmacy masters at the Bogomolets National Medical University. The methodological basis of the study is based on theoretical and empirical methods, including analysis of regulatory documents, surveys of participants in the educational process, stakeholders and system analysis. Important components of the internal system of education quality assurance are updating the content of the educational-professional program “Pharmacy” of the second (master’s) level of higher education in the specialty “Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy” in accordance with the current needs of the labour market, interaction with employers in the pharmaceutical sector, the process of monitoring the education quality and active communication with students. The main results of the analysis are to emphasize the importance of practice-oriented learning, integration of theoretical knowledge with practical skills, which allows students to be actively involved in the real working conditions in the industry. The use of various methods of knowledge assessment contributes to the objectivity and transparency of the process and guarantees the proper training of masters of pharmacy, capable of solving complex problems of pharmaceutical practice. The article demonstrates the importance of continuous improvement of the internal system of education quality assurance as a prerequisite for the training of competitive pharmacists who meet the requirements of modern pharmaceutical science and professional activity.
