PARTICULARITIES OF STUDYING THE DISCIPLINE “MEDICAL BIOCHEMISTRY” BY APPLICANTS FOR THE SPECIALTY “MEDICAL PSYCHOLOGY” UNDER MARTIAL LAW: CHALLENGES AND ADAPTIVE STRATEGIES

Abstract

The article discusses the conditions and challenges of distance organization of the educational process of higher medical education students of the specialty “Medical Psychology” under martial law, theoretically summarizes and substantiates the features of the introduction of distance learning, identifies the challenges and shortcomings of the organization of distance learning. It is established that distance education has a number of challenges, in particular: shortcomings in technical support; the need to adapt curricula and teaching materials to the online format; the need to improve the skills of academic staff for the effective use of digital technologies in the educational process, etc. The peculiarities of the educational process and motivation of higher education students of the specialty “Medical Psychology” in the study of the discipline «Medical Biochemistry» under martial law are analyzed; challenges are identified, adaptive teaching strategies are formulated. A comparative retrospective analysis of the success of higher medical education students in the conditions of mixed form of education was carried out. The advantages, such as convenience for students of higher medical education, lack of restrictions on place and time, are investigated. It is proved that in order to ensure the proper quality of education, it is necessary to compile online and offline forms of education. We consider it promising to improve the online format of the educational process, develop the technical base, improve methodological support and provide additional support to applicants for higher medical education in distance learning.
